SHIMANO Deore XT wheelset 29 "WH-M8100 | Boost
Shimano offers wheels that match the Deore XT 12-speed group. These may not be the absolute lightweights, but they are very robust, durable and mature, like all products in the top components of the Japanese.
The two ends of the aluminum rim are welded and sanded very clean. This creates a high degree of stability and a great look. It is of course also suitable for tubeless use. The strongly butted straight pull spokes help to push the weight and allow a certain flexibility, which offers the pilot some comfort, especially on rough ground. The hub rotates on proven conical bearings with stainless steel balls. Thanks to the wide Boost hub standard, the lateral rigidity of the wheels could be increased further. The MicroSpline pulley freewheel reduces the free travel enormously and converts every start of you into propulsion. All 12-speed Shimano cassettes can be mounted on the freewheel body.
Shimano recommends this wheelset for tires up to 2.35 "wide. This defines the intended use of intended use from cross-country to light all-mountain tours.
